DI Fundraiser: Shrinky Dink Charm Bracelets

Friday April 24 4:00pm – 5:00pm

This class is a fundraiser to benefit the GVS Destination Imagination (DI) Team on their journey to the DI Global Competition! All proceeds from this class will be donated to The Dizzy Iguanas! (See below for more information about this incredible team) 

This is a child and caregiver class. You will use Shrinky Dink paper to create your own custom charm bracelet. You will create, draw, color, and shrink your own charms and then attach them to a bracelet chain with instruction, help, and assistance from us along the way!

One registration is good for two participants… we ask that a caregiver remain onsite with any children.

Recommended ages: 5+ (with adult help)

About this fundraiser:

Our 5th grade Destination Imagination team has accomplished something incredible—they’ve qualified for the Global Finals! After months of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, they now have the chance to represent our community on a global stage. Destination Imagination is more than a competition. It challenges students to think critically, work collaboratively, and build confidence in ways that go far beyond the classroom. We’ve watched these kids grow into leaders, risk-takers, and supportive teammates.

Now, with the Global Finals ahead, we’re reaching out for support. The costs of travel, lodging, and registration fees add up quickly, and we want to make sure every team member can experience this amazing opportunity. Your support will help our team come together, represent our community, and show what young people are capable of when given the chance to shine.
