Sewing Machine Basics

Registration for in-person class on site at Craft and Found Exchange.

Saturday September 12 2:00pm – 5:00pm

This class is designed for beginner sewers who want to learn the very basics of machine sewing. We will cover threading your machine, winding a bobbin, basic straight stitches, back stitching, and seaming.

You will leave class with a drawstring bag sewn by you!

If you have your own sewing machine, bring it to class so you can work on your own machine. Please make sure your machine is in working order before class.

If you don’t have a machine of your own, we will have basic machines available for you to use.

All materials provided. Tea and water will be available as well.
